One of the best potato dishes is potato pancakes. Perfectly cooked potato pancakes: fluffy, not graying or darkening. And to achieve this result, some ingredients should be added to the dough.
Food blogger Maria Khrypko (masha_hrypko) shared a recipe for potato pancakes on her Instagram page . To make them fluffy, she suggests adding slaked soda and vinegar to the dough. And thanks to the onion, the pancakes will not darken.
Ingredients:
- potatoes - 5 pcs.
- onion - 1 pc
- eggs - 1 pc
- soda slaked with vinegar - 1 tsp.
- flour - 120-150 g
- sour cream - 1 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Chop the potatoes and onions on a fine grater.
2. Add eggs, sour cream and slaked soda. Mix well.
3. Add flour and mix.
4. Fry the pancakes.
