Fluffy and tall omelet like in kindergarten: what to add and where to cook

A fluffy and airy omelette that just melts in your mouth is a taste familiar to many since childhood. Preparing this dish does not take much time and ingredients. It is cooked in the oven, which greatly simplifies the whole process. The only thing you need to keep in mind is some nuances, namely knowing the right proportions of milk, how to beat eggs properly, and what form to use.

Food blogger Daria (recepti_dariko) shared a recipe for a fluffy and tall omelette on her Instagram page, just like in kindergarten.

A few cooking tips:

- Do not beat the eggs too hard and never use a mixer. An ordinary whisk or fork will be enough.

- Do not use a large amount of milk.

- To make the omelet high, use a small-diameter mold.

- During the baking process, the omelet rises 2-3 times and then falls. This is normal.

Ingredients:

  • eggs - 6 pcs
  • milk - 300 ml
  • salt - 1\2 tsp
  • butter - 10 g

Method of preparation:

1. First, mix the eggs with milk with a whisk. Then add salt.

2. Grease a baking dish with butter.

3. Pour the egg mixture into the mold.

4. Bake in a preheated 200-degree oven for 25 minutes. If you want the omelette to have a golden crust, bake it for a few minutes longer.
