Experts advise eating it for people with kidney problems, as cabbage contains potassium salts that help fight edema. It can be used to make many delicious dishes, such as dumplings, pies, casseroles, or delicious salads. You can aldo pickle or bake it.

Nutritionist Iryna (iriska.foodblog) shared a recipe for a delicious cabbage pie that everyone can eat on Instagram.

Ingredients:

  • cabbage - 180-200 g
  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • hard cheese - 20 g
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • dried garlic - a pinch
  • black pepper - to taste
  • herbs - a bunch

Method of preparation:

1. Wash and chop the cabbage.

2. Put in a large bowl, add the egg, salt, and pepper and mix thoroughly.

3. Grate the cheese, add the egg mixture and mix.

4. Heat a frying pan, spoon the dough in an even layer, cover, turn over and fry on the other side.

Sprinkle with chopped herbs or fresh vegetables and natural yogurt. Eat hot.
