Potatoes in a rustic way

Potatoes are a versatile product that can always be found in every home. Potato-based dishes are always in demand, popular, and very easy to prepare: delicious pancakes, mashed potatoes, fried or baked potatoes. And this is just a small drop in the sea of dishes made from this vegetable. But the eternal classic is the rustic potato – especially crispy on the outside and incredibly juicy on the inside.

The FoodOboz editorial team will tell you how to cook rustic potatoes in the oven, microwave, and frying pan.

Country-style potatoes in the oven

Ingredients:

  • Potatoes – 500 g
  • Garlic – 3-4 cloves
  • Sunflower oil – 2-3 tbsp
  • Thyme – 2-3 sprigs
  • Salt and pepper – to taste

Method of preparation:

  1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly, but do not remove the peel. Boil until half-cooked.
  2. Cut each potato into 4 pieces. Coat a baking dish with vegetable oil and put the potatoes in a single layer.
  3. Add the garlic, salt and pepper to the potatoes. Sprinkle with thyme.
  4. Bake at 210 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

  4. Serve the potatoes sprinkled with dill.

Method of preparation:

  1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly, but do not peel them.
  2. Cut each potato into 4 pieces. Add the spices.

  4. Be sure to put the finished potatoes on a paper towel beforehand, and then put them on a plate. This is necessary to ensure that the excess vegetable oil "leaves" the potatoes.
