Fat-free French fries for children: cooked for 15 minutes in the oven
French fries are a favorite dish of many people, and despite the fact that this is a rather high-calorie, fatty, and unhealthy dish, everyone cooks it very often, and in a lot of oil. But you can always make any dish safer, less harmful, and tasty by simply replacing some ingredients.
Cook Anastasia shared a recipe on Instagram for delicious and low-fat French fries that take only 15 minutes to cook in the oven.
Ingredients:
- potatoes – 5-6 pcs.
- oil – 2 tbsp.
- salt – 1/3 tsp.
- paprika – a pinch
- fresh rosemary – 1-2 sprigs
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the potatoes, cut into thick strips.
2. Place on a paper towel to absorb excess moisture.
3. Put the potatoes in a bowl, add the oil, spices and salt, and mix well.
4. Put the potatoes on a baking sheet, making sure that the pieces do not touch each other.
5. Bake for 15 minutes at 200 C.
You can serve the dish with or without any sauce!
