Expert names red wine perfect for steaks
Sometimes you just want to relax and enjoy a delicious dinner with a glass of good wine. It's no secret that white wines go well with fish and seafood, while red wines are the perfect match for meat.
Tom Gilby, a wine selection expert, revealed what kind of wine is ideal for steak on TikTok. "Steak is a fairly simple meat, a very tasty meat, and I want the wine to really, really complement it," says Gilby, explaining how to choose the right wine for meat.

According to him, any steak would be perfectly paired with wine made from Malbec grapes. There are many producers of this drink, but he decided to try only two. The first was the Georges Vigouroux 'Le Grand Retour' Malbec 2020, priced at £9.99 per bottle. After tasting the drink, Gilby confirmed that this wine does indeed smell like Malbec and also contains the scent of dark black plum.

The next wine to be opened by the expert was Pascual Toso Limited Edition Malbec 2020, priced at £15. Having tasted the drink, Gilby says that he feels a more fleshy and ripe flavor. "It's a rich, juicy, fatty blackberry bomb," Gilby emphasized, noting that this particular wine would be a great complement to a properly cooked steak.
