Espresso tonic with lemon: how to make a popular refreshing drink at home
Hot coffee is becoming less and less popular in the heat of the day. But if you don't want to give up your favorite drink, there is a great alternative – a cold espresso tonic. It has become a real trend in recent years, and more and more people want to make a refreshing drink at home.
Food blogger Diana Khomenko (dianka_khomenko_) shared a recipe for a popular summer drink called espresso tonic on her Instagram page.

Ingredients:
- coffee beans – 16 g
- water – 70-90 ml
- lemon

- lemon juice
- mint
- sweet sparkling water
Method of preparation:
1. Grind the coffee. The grind should be slightly larger than granulated sugar.
2. Prepare the base for the drink in a French press. To do this, pour the ground coffee into the press and add 30-40 ml of water. The water should have a temperature of 93-95 degrees.

3. After 30 seconds add the rest of the water.
4. Pour ice into the glass and pour the finished tonic.

5. Add lemon juice, lemon slices and mint.
6. Pour the sparkling water.
