Elementary salad with mushrooms: it is worth cooking in the fall

Simple and hearty salads are a versatile dish for the fall season. You can combine a variety of seasonal products in this appetizer. These can be mushrooms, carrots, and various greens.

The idea of making an autumn salad was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Yulia with the nickname cook_julija_simonchuk.

Ingredients:

  • mushrooms - 250-300 g
  • onion - 1 pc.
  • carrot - 1 pc.
  • canned green peas - 100 g
  • mayonnaise - 2-3 tbsp.
  • greens - for serving
  • salt, pepper - to taste
  • vegetable oil - 3-4 tbsp.

Method of preparation:

1. Mix finely chopped onion, grated carrot and fry in a frying pan in vegetable oil until soft.

2. Fry the finely chopped mushrooms separately until tender.

3. Strain off excess oil in both cases of frying, if any.

4. Mix carrots with onions, mushrooms, add peas, mayonnaise and mix.

5. Season with salt and pepper to taste, add herbs.

6. It is best to knead the salad a few minutes before serving, and chill it in the refrigerator beforehand.
