Elementary apple charlotte: cooked in a frying pan

Apple charlotte is the simplest and most deliciousapple pie, based on elementary dough with kefir, sour cream or milk and necessarily juicy apple filling. At the same time, you can cook baked goods even without an oven.

Food blogger Olga Golovina(olha.holovina) on her Instagram page shared a recipe for a delicious apple charlotte, which you can easily make in a frying pan.

Ingredients:

  • apples - 3 pcs
  • GCI butter - 30 g
  • sugar - 30 g
  • cinnamon - to taste
  • vanilla sugar - to taste

Dough:

  • egg - 1 pc
  • flour - 130 g
  • salt
  • sugar - 30 g
  • sour cream or yogurt - 250 g
  • butter - 30 ml
  • leavening agent - 10 g

Method of preparation:

1. To prepare the filling you need to put in a frying pan GCI butter and sugar, melt on low heat. Optionally add vanilla sugar.

2. Peel and cut the apples into medium-sized pieces, place in a frying pan and cook over a low heat for 7 minutes. Once cooked, spread them evenly in the pan.

3. To prepare the dough, add sugar and salt to the eggs and stir with a whisk.

4. Pour the butter and add the sour cream, mix.

5. Sift in the flour and baking powder and mix the dough. It will be as thick as pancakes.

6. Pour the batter over the apples. Cook under a lid for 15-20 minutes on low heat. Then turn the pie over to the other side and cook for another 5 minutes on low heat with the lid on.

7. The finished pie can be sprinkled with powdered sugar or coconut shavings.
