They have a rather original spicy flavor and are somewhat reminiscent of a kebab. Such a variety of flavors can be achieved with just a few spices and vegetables that are available to everyone.
Food blogger Maryna Novikova (marisha_recepti) shared a recipe for marinated baked eggplant on her Instagram page that tastes like barbecue.
Ingredients:
- eggplants – 3 pcs
- barbecue seasoning –1 tbsp
- vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
- onion – 1 pc
- garlic – 3 cloves
- soy sauce – 1 tbsp
- parsley
- salt
Method of preparation:
1. Peel the eggplants and cut them into medium-sized cubes.
2. Add barbecue seasoning, vegetable oil, and salt to the chopped eggplant. Mix and place on a baking sheet covered with parchment.
3. Bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
4. Meanwhile, cut the onion into half rings and fry until soft.
5. Also chop the parsley.
6. Add onion, parsley, and soy sauce to the cooked eggplant and season with soy sauce.
