Easy-to-make ginger baby cookies: food bloggers share their secrets
Gingerbread cookies are the best winter treat that is very easy to make. The main thing is to choose good flour and find a recipe that will make your cookies delicious.
Cook, and food blogger Olha Matvii shared the simplest recipe for delicious ginger cookies that children love (to watch the video, scroll to the end).
Ginger cookies
Ingredients:
- flour - 220 g
- sugar - 70 g
- baking soda - 0.5 tsp
- cinnamon - 1 tsp.
- cloves - 1 tsp.
- baking powder - 0.5 tsp.
- ginger - 2 tsp.
- salt - a pinch
- banana - 100 g
- grated ginger - 2 tsp.
- butter - 2 tbsp
- sunflower oil - 2 tbsp.
- lemon zest - 2-3 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, cloves, and mix everything.
2. Add the lemon zest, ginger, grated banana, and butter, and mix well.
3. Cover the baking dish with parchment, pinch off the finished dough, and form balls with your hands, lightly press each one, put it on the parchment, and "walk" it with a fork.
4. Put the finished cookies in a hot oven and bake for 10 minutes at 200 °C.
The treat will go well with tea, coffee, and hot cocoa.
Honey cookies according to the recipe of food blogger Olha carrot.raw
Ingredients:
- honey or Jerusalem artichoke syrup - 100 g
- warm water - 50 g
- coconut oil (or Ghee) - 50 g
- gluten-free mix from the edge - 200 g
- 0.5 tsp. baking soda + 1 tsp. apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
- spices (cinnamon, ginger, cardamom) - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Mix water with honey, oil, and spices in a saucepan, put on fire, and remove as soon as bubbles appear.
2. In a separate bowl, mix the flour and baking soda.
3. Mix both masses, add vinegar, and knead the dough by hand.
4. Be sure to refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes.
5. Then roll out, place on a baking sheet, and bake for 7-10 minutes at 180°C.
