To make a light and nutritious salad without mayonnaise, you can use tuna and feta. Also add a variety of seasonal vegetables and herbs. This dish will definitely not harm your figure, and you will not feel heavy.
The idea of preparing a light salad with canned tuna and feta was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Kateryna Movchan. To prevent the onions from being bitter and too hot, you can pickle them.
Ingredients:
- salad greens
- tomato
- red onion
- quail eggs - 15 pieces (boiled)
- canned tuna - 130 g
- feta - 200 g
- sugar - 1 tsp
- apple cider vinegar - 2 tsp.
- salt and pepper - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Marinate the onion: cut it into half rings.
2. Put it on a plate.
3. Add salt, pepper, sugar, apple cider vinegar.
4. Stir and set aside.
5. Put the salad greens in a deep plate.
6. Add the diced tomato, boiled quail eggs cut in half.
7. Add the canned tuna and pickled onions.
8. Cut the feta and put it on the salad.
9. You can mix all the ingredients together or serve them as is.
