Easier than pie: lazy apple strudel with cinnamon for tea
Apple desserts are the best option for a delicious winter treat for tea or coffee. It's worth noting that apples go perfectly with cinnamon, sugar, and any kind of dough.
On Instagram, chef Oleksandr Hromliuk shared a recipe for a delicious, lazy strudel that is prepared in a very original way: apples are simply wrapped in dough and baked in portions.
Ingredients:
- Puff pastry – 450 g
- Apples – 350 g
- Sugar – 50 g
- Ground cinnamon – to taste
- Yolk – 1 pc
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the apples, peel, cut into slices, and remove the core.
2. Cut the dough into strips.
3. Carefully roll each piece of apple in sugar, sprinkle with cinnamon, and wrap in the pastry.
4. Put on a baking sheet, brush with beaten egg yolk, and bake for 20-25 minutes at 170°C.
Serve the dessert hot, it will be very tasty and flavorful!
