Easier than cheesecakes: we explain how to make a delicate cottage cheese casserole with jam for breakfast
Cottage cheese is an ideal product for preparing delicious, healthy, hearty and simple breakfast dishes, from cheesecakes to casseroles, lazy dumplings and pies.
Chef Yevhenia Karpiuk shared a recipe for a delicious cottage cheese casserole with semolina, sour cream, and jam on Instagram.
Tip from the cook: it is better to use fatty cottage cheese for the dish!
Ingredients:
- cottage cheese - 600 g
- sour cream - 3 tbsp.
- semolina - 2 tbsp.
- eggs - 2 pcs.
- salt - a pinch
- finished jam
Method of preparation:
1. Mix semolina with sour cream and leave for 30 minutes to swell.
2. Beat cottage cheese, eggs, sugar, salt in a blender until smooth.
3. Add semolina and sour cream to the cottage cheese and mix.
4. Put the mixture into a greased baking dish and bake for 40-50 minutes at 180°C.
5. Take out the finished casserole, let it cool, cut into pieces, pour over the jam and serve.
