Dumplings with potatoes and unusual sauce in a new way: a recipe from Hector Jimenez-Bravo
Almost every housewife knows how to make homemade dumplings; the most important thing is to make a good dough. For the filling, you can use any ingredients, from fried cabbage, meat, fish, mushrooms, potatoes, to berries, cheese, poppy seeds.
Chef Hector Jimenez-Bravo shared a recipe for delicious dumplings with mashed potatoes, Parmesan, and bacon on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- Flour - 200 g
- Boiling water - 100 ml
- Oil - 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Mashed potatoes - 200 g
- Parmesan cheese - 50 g
- Salt and pepper - to taste
- Bacon - 150 g
- Egg yolks - 2 pcs.
- Salt and pepper - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Prepare the dough for dumplings. Roll out, cut out dumpling molds.
2. Prepare mashed potatoes, add spices, mix.
3. Put the filling in the middle of the dough, pinch it so that the filling does not fall out. Cook until done.
4. Dice the bacon and fry until golden brown.
5. Mix the egg yolks with Parmesan, add the oil after frying the bacon, mix, transfer the mixture to the frying pan, fry until the mixture becomes homogeneous, add the fried bacon and put the dumplings in.
Serve the dish hot, it will be very tasty and satisfying!
