Well-cooked dumplings are soft and do not fall apart during cooking. It depends on the dough, the best of which is custard. The filling can be sweet and salty.

Food blogger Liliya with the nickname lileklilek2 shared a recipe for cabbage dumplings with choux pastry on her Instagram page.

Ingredients:

Dough:

  • flour - 250 g
  • water (boiling water) - 150 ml
  • salt
  • sugar
  • oil - 2 tbsp.

You can use sauerkraut for the filling and fried onions for the dressing .

Method of preparation:

1. Sift the flour into a bowl, make a well in the middle and pour the oil in.

2. Boil water separately with a pinch of salt and sugar. Pour the resulting liquid into the oil. Knead the elastic dough. Knead with a spoon at first, then continue with your hands.

3. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and leave it for 30 minutes.

4. Roll out the dough thinly and cut out circles.

5. Put the filling and form the dumplings.

6. Boil the dumplings in boiling salted water.
