Cherry dumplings without cooking

Cherry dumplings

Ingredients:

  • fresh cherries – 2-3 cups
  • fresh strawberries – 1 cup
  • honey – 2-3 tbsp
  • rice paper

Method of preparation:

  1. Remove the pits from the cherries.
  2. Blend the strawberries with honey in a blender.
  3. Soak the rice paper for a few minutes until it becomes elastic.
  4. Put the cherries and strawberry sauce on the edge, gently wrap it in an envelope or like a stuffed cabbage roll.
  5. Place on a plate and pour over strawberries and honey.

Colored dumplings

Colorful dumplings

Ingredients:

  • rice flour – 1 cup
  • eggs – 1 pc.
  • salt – 1 tsp
  • water – 40-50 ml

You can use the following as coloring agents :

  • for red color – 1 tsp. spoon of tomato paste or 50 ml of beets
  • yellow color – 1 tbsp. spoon turmeric
  • orange –  50 ml of squeezed carrot juice
  • green – 50 ml of spinach juice

Method of preparation:

  1. Make the dough: add the egg, salt, and water to the flour and knead well.
  2. Add the juice to the dough – 50 ml, which will give the desired color.
  3. Make the filling at your discretion – from sweet to salty.
  4. Form the dumplings and cook them like regular dumplings until they are done.

Serve with sour cream.

Baked dumplings on a stick

Ingredients:

  • flour – any kind to your taste – 1 cup
  • eggs – 1-2 pcs
  • water or milk – 50-60 ml
  • salt – 10 g
  • baking soda – 10 g

For the filling: you can take any product to your taste.

Method of preparation:

  1. Mix flour, eggs, salt, baking soda, water and knead the dough well.
  2. Then roll it out into a thin layer and cut out circles with the diameter of a glass.
  3. Put the filling and fix a wooden stick on the edge, then cover it with another round of dough.
  4. Put the finished dumplings on a greased baking sheet.
  5. Bake for about 20-25 minutes at 150 C.
