Dumplings are the simplest dish that can be easily prepared at home with a minimal set of ingredients. To make them soft, and tender, hold their shape and not boil over, you need to prepare a good dough. One of the options is whey dough. It is, by the way, suitable for any filling.
The recipe for whey dumpling dough was published in one of the culinary blogs (grenache_rose) on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- whey – 500
- flour – 700
- baking soda – 0.5 tsp
- salt – 0.5 tsp
- butter – 30 g
Method of preparation:
1. Mix the flour with salt.
2. Mix whey, oil, and baking soda separately.
3. Mix the two masses. Knead soft dough and leave to rest for 15-20 minutes. After that, you can start cooking the dumplings.
