Bright, sweet, youthful, and extremely attractive – it's all about donuts. You can't ignore such a dessert, because it seems to attract with its appearance. A variety of colors and decorations complement the display case. And if you thought that you could taste this dessert only in some institution, you are very wrong. It can be easily prepared at home using a seasonal autumn vegetable – pumpkin.

  • pressed yeast - 20 g
  • warm milk - 100 ml
  • sugar - 60 g
  • pumpkin puree - 200 g
  • soft butter - 60 g
  • flour - 370-380 g

Optional:

  • white/dark chocolate
  • sprinkles
  • nuts
  • chocolate slices

Method of preparation:

1. Make a dough: add a little sugar to the yeast from the total amount, half the milk and 2-3 tbsp of flour, mix and leave for 15-20 minutes.

2. Add the rest of the milk, sugar, pumpkin puree to the dough and mix.

3. Add flour in parts, soft butter in the end, and knead the dough. It will stick a little to your hands – no more flour is needed.

4. Cover with cling film, leave for 1.5 hours.

5. Roll out donuts 1 centimeter thick, make holes.

6. Leave to fry in oil for 15 minutes.

Chocolate Donuts

7. Add a little oil to the melted chocolate to make it easier to apply to the finished donuts.

8. Decorate as desired.

The dessert is extremely tasty and just melts in your mouth.
