Donuts that always turn out fluffy: what is the secret of the perfect dough
Sweet and fluffy doughnuts have a lot of fans – they're a delicious pastry that can feed the whole family. The dish is truly perfect when it is low-fat, crispy on top, light and tender on the inside. But not everyone can do it. It all depends on what ingredients you choose for the dough.
Really tasty and fluffy doughnuts are made with kefir dough. The idea was published on the vcusnoe_bludo Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- kefir - 250 ml
- egg - 1 pc.
- sugar to taste
- salt - a pinch
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- vegetable oil - 3 tbsp
- flour - 2.5-3 cups
- vegetable oil for frying
- powdered sugar for powdering
Method of preparation:
1. Combine the kefir with the egg, sugar and salt, mix everything thoroughly.
2. Pour baking soda into the mass and add oil.
3. Add the sifted flour and knead the dough. It should be smooth and stick to your hands.
4. Divide the dough into two parts, roll each into a layer about 1 cm thick.
5. Cut out circles from the dough with a mug, make a recess in the middle of each with a glass.
6. Pour 1 centimeter of oil onto a hot frying pan.
7. Once heated, put the donuts in the pan and fry on both sides over medium heat. Sprinkle with powdered sugar while still hot.
