Donuts for coffee: incredible deliciousness with vanilla cream
Regardless of the fact that donuts are not a dietary dish at all, almost everyone loves them. There is a wide variety of donut recipes in the world, which is why they will never lose their popularity.
Food blogger Natalia Zhuk shared her recipe for donuts. On Instagram, she also shared how to make vanilla cream, which is perfect for donuts.
Ingredients for the dough:
- Warm milk – 200 ml
- Live yeast – 20 grams (or 6 grams of dry yeast)
- Sugar – 70 g
- Eggs – 2 pcs
- Flour – 480 g
- Salt – ½ tsp
- Butter – 50 g
Ingredients for the cream:
- Sugar – 50 g
- Vanilla sugar – 1 tsp.
- Corn starch – 25 g
- Salt – a pinch
- Egg yolk – 3 pcs
- Milk – 400 ml
- Butter – 30 g
Method of preparation:
1. Add yeast and sugar to warm milk, and mix well.
2. Add 2 eggs and mix again.
3. Add 480 g of flour and a pinch of salt. Knead the dough. At the end, add 50 g of soft butter. Leave it for 1 hour.
4. Prepare the cream. In a saucepan, mix sugar, vanilla sugar, cornstarch, salt, 3 egg yolks, and 400 ml of milk. Turn on the heat.
5. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until thickened. At the end, add 50 g of butter.
6. Transfer the cream to a pastry bag and cool completely.
7. Divide the dough into two parts and roll out.
8. Cut out the donuts using a glass. Put them on the parchment, cover, and leave for another 10-15 minutes.
9. Fry over medium heat in a well-heated frying pan with plenty of oil.
10. Put the finished donuts on paper towels.
11. Roll the doughnuts in sugar or powdered sugar. Make holes and fill them with cream.
