Don't throw it away: what you can make from yesterday's porridge

If you don't eat porridge right away, it will become cold and tasteless. But there is no need to throw it away, because it can be a great base for other dishes. For example, sweet pancakes. And it doesn't matter what kind of cereal it is.

The idea of making pancakes from ready-made porridge was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Nina Tkach with the nickname ninatkachseniak.

Ingredients:

  • 6-8 tbsp. cooked porridge
  • 1 pc banana
  • 1 egg
  • 6 tbsp of coconut flakes
  • 2 tbsp. flour (look at the consistency of the dough, you may need to add another spoon)

Method of preparation:

1. Put the porridge, egg and banana in a blender.

2. Mix everything until smooth.

3. Add the coconut and flour. The consistency should be quite thick.

4. Put in a preheated frying pan and fry until golden brown over low heat under a lid.
