Dinner in 30 minutes: tagliatelle pasta with meatballs in tomato sauce
You don't have to be Jamie Oliver to cook dinner in half an hour. Anyone can cope with this task if they have the will.
In the "Dinner in 30 minutes" section, FoodOboz offers you the simplest recipe possible: pasta with meatballs in tomato sauce. To prepare this dish, you can use tagliatelle pasta in nests or any short pasta.
- Tagliatelle pasta - 3-4 nests
- minced beef - 350 g
- onion - 1 pc.
- small carrot - 1 pc.
- tomato juice - 500 ml
- salt, pepper - to taste
- dry basil - 0.5 tsp.
- sugar - 1 tbsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - for serving
- Peel the onions and carrots. Dice the onion into small cubes and finely grate the carrots.
- Add the vegetables to the minced meat, season with salt and pepper, sprinkle with dried basil, and mix well. Form small meatballs.
- Put the tagliatelle nests in a saucepan or deep frying pan, and place the meatballs on top.
- Stir sugar and a pinch of salt into the tomato juice. The sugar is needed to neutralize the acid that the tomato juice will produce when heated.
- Pour the juice over the pasta and meat so that the liquid completely covers all the ingredients.
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer over medium heat for 20 minutes.
- Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese when serving.
