Diet shawarma with a delicious filling: a simple recipe
Shawarma is a very tasty and absolutely unhealthy dish, but if you cook it in a new way, namely without harmful mayonnaise and spicy ketchup, it can take on a completely different flavor.
The FoodOboz editorial team has chosen a very simple recipe for a delicious diet shawarma with vegetables, meat, and natural sauce. The recipe was published on the Good Food Telegram channel.
Ingredients:
- thin Armenian pita bread - 3 pcs.
- chicken thigh fillet - 3 pcs.
- lettuce leaves - 1 package
- cucumber - 1 pc.
- tomato - 2 pcs.
- 10% sour cream - 3 tbsp
- garlic - to taste
- dill - a bunch
- salt, pepper, spices - to taste
- sunflower oil - 1-2 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Dice the fillet.
2. Fry in vegetable oil, adding spices.
3. Add chopped garlic and dill to the sour cream.
4. Cut cucumbers into strips and tomatoes into slices.
5. Put lettuce leaves, chopped vegetables, and meat on top of the pita bread and pour the sauce over everything.
6. Wrap and grill.
7. Cut the finished shawarma in half and serve.
