Delicious zucchini rolls with an unusual filling: a simple recipe
Zucchini is one of the tastiest and healthiest vegetables, and it is also considered to be dietary. It can be used to prepare many different delicious, original dishes, such as pancakes, salads, and casseroles, and can be added to pies, stuffed with meat and vegetables. They are also canned and salted for the winter.
Food expert Svitlana Levytska shared a recipe for delicious zucchini rolls with three types of cheese on Instagram, which will be very flavorful and not greasy.
Ingredients:
- Zucchini – 300 g
- Ricotta – 150 g
- Egg – 1 pc
- Parmesan cheese – 30 g
- Garlic – 1 clove
- Basil, dill, or parsley – a bunch
- Cream cheese – 50 g
- Tomato sauce – 80-100 g
Method of preparation:
1. Wash and cut the zucchini into slices, and season with salt and pepper.
2. Preheat the grill, brush with oil, and grill the zucchini.
3. Filling: mix the ricotta, chopped herbs, crushed garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, and boiled egg, mix everything thoroughly.
4. Spread the fried zucchini slices with the prepared filling and wrap the rolls.
5. Grease the bottom of the baking dish with half of the tomato sauce, put the rolls and grease with the other half of the sauce. Sprinkle with cheese and place in a preheated 200°C oven for 30 minutes.
It is better to serve the dish hot, so it will be even tastier!
