Delicious pudding: what to make from leftover Easter cakes
Easter has already passed but you still have leftover Easter cakes and now you don't know what to do with them? As it turns out, they can be used to make an extremely tasty and flavorful pudding.
Food blogger Olha Riabenko knows how to do it right. On Instagram, she said that this recipe is perfect for any stale bread. This makes a nutritious breakfast, which is often prepared by the British.
Ingredients
- Easter cake
- butter - 50 g
- eggs - 4 pcs.
- milk - 500 ml
- cream 15-30% - 500 ml
- sugar - 120-150 g
- vanilla sugar - 2 tsp.
- powdered sugar
Method of preparation.
1. Cut the cakes into pieces. Do not use the tops with icing.
2. For the filling, mix all the ingredients until smooth, except butter and powdered sugar.
3. Grease the mold with butter.
4. Dip each piece into the filling and place in the mold.
5. Pour the rest of the filling over to cover the cakes.
6. Cut butter into pieces and put them between the bread.
7. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and bake at 170° for 35 minutes.
