If you love pizza, but you've had enough of the usual, you can always add new ingredients to make a great dish. For example, leeks, potatoes, tender cheese, and fruit.

Food blogger grennysmith (Anna) shared an unusual recipe for a delicious pizza with ricotta, potatoes, and truffle oil on Instagram.

Pizza with potatoes and ricotta

Ingredients:

  • warm water - 150 g
  • dry yeast - 1 tsp.
  • sugar - 1 tsp.
Pizza dough
  • flour - 250 g
  • oil - 1 tbsp. 

The filling:

  • ricotta - 250 g
  • potatoes - 2 pcs.
  • mozzarella - 200 g
  • parsley - a bunch
Potatoes for stuffing
  • truffle oil - 2 tbsp.
  • salt, pepper - to taste
  • coarse salt - a pinch

Method of preparation:

1. Dough: mix water with yeast, add sugar, salt, and flour, stir well, and knead the dough with your hands, let it stand for about 30 minutes to make it "fit" well.

2. Wash and cut the potatoes into very thin slices, and soak them in cold water to remove the starch.

3. Stretch out the dough and place it on a baking sheet.

4. Mix the ricotta with salt, pepper, and truffle oil.

5. Top the dough with ricotta and peppers, chopped mozzarella, and truffle oiled potatoes.

6. Sprinkle with coarse salt and put in the oven for 18-20 minutes at 200°C.

Eat the pizza hot, it will be very tasty and flavorful.
