Delicious meatballs with rice: a simple recipe for lunch or dinner
Meatballs are an ideal option for light lunch or dinner. They are cooked with buckwheat or rice and always with minced meat, making the dish very hearty and nutritious. The most popular sauce for meatballs is tomato one, made with carrots, onions and tomatoes or tomato paste.

Ingredients:
- minced meat
- rice
- onion
- egg
- salt, pepper, spices
For the sauce:
- onion
- carrot
- tomato paste
Method of preparation:
1. Boil the rice beforehand.
2. Chop the onion.
3. Mix all the ingredients and form meatballs. Put them in a baking dish.
4. For the sauce, chop the onion and grate the carrots. Fry until soft.
5. Add tomato paste to the vegetables. Pour a little water and cook until a homogeneous thick sauce.
6. Pour the sauce over the meatballs.
7. Bake at 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
