Delicious meatballs with cream sauce in 20 minutes
Children often refuse to eat healthy dishes, including meatballs, which are based on meat, vegetables, and spices. But if you try to cook them in a new way, for example, in a delicious sauce, the likelihood that children will like the dish will increase.
The FoodOboz editorial team has chosen a wonderful recipe for delicious beef meatballs in a delicate creamy sauce. The recipe was published on the Masterpieces of Cooking Telegram channel.
Ingredients:
- Ground beef - 400 g
- Egg - 1 pc.
- Chopped onion - 1 pc.
- Chopped garlic - 1 clove
- Breadcrumbs - 4 tbsp.
- Chopped parsley - a few sprigs
- Salt/pepper/spices - to taste
- Greens - a bunch
- Oil - 1-3 tbsp.
For the sauce:
- Butter - 1 tbsp.
- Flour - 1.5 tbsp
- Cream (33%) - 100 ml
- Water/broth - 350 ml
- Salt/pepper/nutmeg - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Mix the minced meat, egg, breadcrumbs, spices, chopped onion, garlic and herbs.
2. Punch down with wet hands and shape into meatballs.
3. Fry the meatballs in oil on all sides and remove from the heat.
4. Melt the butter in the same pan, add the flour, and fry until golden brown, gradually pour in the water/broth, and stir thoroughly.
5. Add cream, and spices, and mix well.
6. Add the meatballs to the sauce and cook over low heat, covered, until tender.
7. Sprinkle with herbs and serve with mashed potatoes or any other garnish.
