Lazy dumplings
Lazy dumplings are an ideal option for a tasty and satisfying breakfast, based on cottage cheese and dough. As a rule, they take no more than 20 minutes to cook.
Culinary expert and food blogger Kateryna Mull shared on Instagram the simplest recipe for delicious lazy dumplings with cherries for a hearty breakfast.
Ingredients:
- Cottage cheese 5-9% – 400 g
- Eggs – 1 pc.
- Sugar – 2 tbsp.
- Cherries – 100 g
- Flour – 5 tbsp
Sauce:
- Condensed milk – 50 g
- Sour cream – 50 g
- Coconut flakes – 2 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Mash the cottage cheese with a fork, add the egg, sugar, flour, and knead the dough.
2. Use your hands to form cakes, put cherries inside, and roll them up to form balls.
3. Bring the water to a boil, drop in the dumplings, and cook until they float.
4. Sauce: mix condensed milk with sour cream, and add coconut flakes.
Lazy dumplings are best served hot and with sauce.
