Lard is one of the most affordable, tasty and healthy foods that experts recommend consuming 100 grams a day. It is added to various dishes, such as cutlets and baked potatoes, as well as used to make sandwiches and spicy spreads.

Cook Halyna Artemenko shared a recipe for a delicious lard and garlic spread that you can prepare in just 10 minutes on Instagram.

Ingredients:

  • lard - 600 g
  • garlic - 30 g
  • salt - 18 g
  • pepper - to taste

Method of preparation:

1. Remove the skin from the lard.

2. Chop the lard and put it in a blende. You can also pass it through a meat grinder twice.

3. Add garlic, salt, and pepper and whisk until smooth.

The finished spread can be stored in the refrigerator for several days.
