Delicious honey cookies for fasting: what to make the dough from
If you are fasting and want something tasty for tea, make these honey cookies. They are quite sweet because the dough is based on honey. It interacts with baking soda and flour to form an elastic dough from which you can cut out baking products.
The idea of making lean honey cookies was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Daria with the nickname recepti_dariko. They take a maximum of 10 minutes to bake.
Ingredients:
- honey - 40 g
- sugar - 80 g
- water - 50 ml.
- oil - 40 g
- flour - 220 g
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- salt - a pinch
Spices:
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp.
- ground nutmeg - 1/4 tsp.
- ground cardamom - 1/4 tsp.
- ground cloves - 1/4 tsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Combine 80 g of sugar, 40 g of honey and 50 ml of water in a saucepan.
2. Put on a small fire.
3. Bring to a boil until the mixture begins to foam.
4. Pour into a bowl and add half a teaspoon of baking soda.
5. Stir, the mass will foam and lighten.
6. Then add a pinch of salt and 40 g of odorless vegetable oil.
7. Mix well.
8. Gradually add the flour and spices to the honey mixture, mix first with a spatula, then with your hands.
9. The dough will be warm.
10. Wrap in cling film and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
11. Then roll out the dough on a floured surface, thinly, about 5 mm.
12. Cut out circles.
13. Bake in a preheated 200 degree oven for 5-7 minutes
