Crab sticks are a versatile product that can be added to salads, snacks, and even original dishes with them, such as a cake.

Cooks advise adding garlic to the cake and yogurt instead of mayonnaise.

Blogger Iryna Sychevska shared a recipe for a delicious crab cake on Instagram, which would be a great option for a festive meal.

Ingredients:

  • crab sticks - 250 g
  • hard cheese - 100 g
  • eggs - 3 pcs.
  • sour cream - 5-6 tbsp.
  • greens - a bunch
  • garlic - 2 cloves.
  • salt, pepper - to taste

Method of preparation:

1. Boil the eggs, divide them into yolks and whites, and mash the yolks with a fork.

2. Grate the cheese on a fine grater.

3. Chop the greens.

4. Roll out the crab sticks to form a plate.

5. Mix the yolks, cheese, herbs, chopped garlic, salt, pepper, add sour cream and mix well.

6. Assemble the layer cake: first put a layer of crab sticks, then the cheese and egg filling, then another layer, the filling, grease the entire cake with sour cream and sprinkle with egg white.

7. Put the finished cake in the refrigerator for a few hours and you can eat.
