Delicious cherry pie with nuts and spices: a recipe for a savory summer dessert from Tetiana Lytvynova
In summer, one of the most delicious desserts is pies with berries and light creams. You can make any kind of dough for the treat, from sponge cake to simple pita bread and puff pastry.
Chef Tatiana Litvinova shared a recipe for a delicious cherry pie on Instagram that always turns out well.
Ingredients:
- Cottage cheese 9% - 600 g
- Eggs - 6 pcs.
- Sugar - 360 g
- Butter - 140 g
- Vanilla sugar - 20 g
- Baking powder - 30 g
- Salt - 1 tsp.
- Wheat flour - 440 g
- Cherries - 800 g
- Starch - 100 g
Method of preparation:
1. Beat the cottage cheese into a paste with an immersion blender.
2. Beat the eggs with the sugar.
3. Add the lemon zest and cardamom to the mixture.
4. Add the baking powder and salt to the sifted flour.
5. Add beaten cheese to the beaten eggs, then the butter and spices, and then add the flour and mix gently.
6. Put the dough on a baking sheet covered with parchment.
7. Dredge the pitted cherries in starch and put them on the dough.
8. Bake the cake for 1 hour at 160 C.
7. Spread the finished cake with jam and sprinkle with chopped pistachios and powdered sugar.
