Delicious budget gravy for any side dish: what to make with
If you don't have time to cook chops or cutlets, you can make a delicious gravy. It is moderately fatty, juicy and not too high in calories. And all because it is made from beef.
The idea of making beef gravy for a side dish was published on the Instagram page of Diana (home_c_o_o_k_i_n_g).
Ingredients:
- beef - 600 g
- tomato juice - 500 ml
- onion - 300 g
- pickled cucumber - 1 pc
- garlic - 4 cloves
- coriander - 1 tsp.
- black pepper/salt - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the meat into small cubes.
2. Fry in vegetable oil on all sides for 5-7 minutes until browned.
3. Meanwhile, finely chop the onion and pickled cucumber and grate the garlic on a fine grater.
4. Add the onion to the meat and stew for 2-3 minutes.
5. Add tomato juice, spices and cucumber to the meat.
6. Simmer for about 1-1.5 hours (the meat should be tender).
7. Add garlic at the end and mix well.
