Tarte tatin is a simple pie with juicy apples. The simplicity of this dessert is that you can use ordinary store-bought puff pastry for the base. You just need to make the filling and bake everything.

Food blogger Mykola Lyulko shared the idea of making a delicate apple tarte tatin on Instagram. For the dough to rise, don't forget to make punctures in it with a fork.

Ingredients:

  • butter - 150 g
  • sugar - 300 g
  • vanilla stick - 2 pcs.
  • rosemary - 1 pc.
  • apples - 1500 g
  • puff pastry - 500 g

Method of preparation:

1. Melt the butter in a frying pan and add sugar, vanilla stick, and rosemary leaves one by one.

2. Add pre-peeled apples, cut into 4 pieces.

3. Turn on medium power and gradually cook the caramel.

4. When brown bubbles begin to appear, cover the apples with the dough and put them in the oven preheated to 180-200 degrees for 30 minutes.

5. Take out the pie.

6. Drain the syrup into a bowl, put the pie on a plate and pour a little syrup over it.
