Delicious apple pie without flour: we share a diet recipe
Pies are the perfect dish to go with tea and coffee, as well as soups and broths. They are made on different doughs, often from pita bread, and with different fillings.
Alla Kovaliova, a cook and nutritionist, shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious apple and oatmeal pie that takes only 30 minutes to prepare.
Ingredients:
- Egg – 1 whole + 1 white
- Apple – 176 g
- Carrots – 100 g
- Milk 2.5% – 120 ml
- Oatmeal – 70 g
- Nuts, dried fruits – 17 g
- Baking powder – 1/2 tsp
- Cinnamon – 1/3 tsp
- Sweetener (sugar) – to taste
For the cream:
- Soft cheese – 120 g
- Poppy seeds – 7 g
- Sweetener (sugar) – to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Peel the apple and carrot, and grate on a coarse grater.
2. Cover the dried fruit with hot water for 10 minutes, then drain and dry with a paper towel.
3. Put the carrots, apple, eggs, milk, and milk into a blender and blend until smooth.
4. Pulse the oatmeal until it resembles flour.
5. Add the oatmeal, sweetener, baking powder, cinnamon, and dried fruit, chopped nuts to the dough and mix well.
6. Pour the finished dough into the mold and place in the oven for 30-40 minutes at 180 C.
