Delicate German apple pie: lots of juicy filling
German apple pie is a minimum of shortcrust pastry and a maximum of juicy apple filling. Delicate streusel (confectionery crumbs), which simply melts in your mouth, gives the pastry its specialty.

Ingredients:
Dough:
- butter at room temperature – 90 g
- sugar – 80 g
- egg – 1 pc
- flour – 190 g
- baking powder – 4 g
- salt
Apple filling:
- apples – 4-5 pcs
- lemon juice – 1 tbsp
- cinnamon
Streusel:
- flour – 80 g
- sugar – 50 g
- salt
- cinnamon
- butter at room temperature – 60 g
- nuts – 30 g
Method of preparation:
1. For the dough, mix butter and sugar.
2. Add the egg. Mix well.
3. Add baking powder, salt and flour. Mix until the ingredients are completely combined and the dough is smooth.
4. Put the finished dough on the bottom of the mold, forming the walls. Put in the freezer while preparing the filling.
5. For the filling, cut the apples into slices and mix with the other necessary ingredients.
6. For the streusel, you also need to combine everything to form a so-called crumb.
7. Remove the mold from the freezer. Put the apple filling and sprinkle with streusel.
8. Bake at 180 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
