Cutlets are a delicious dish traditionally made from minced meat or fish. Cutlets are often filled with various toppings such as mushrooms, cheese, or even cereals, and cooked in different ways - in a frying pan, in the oven, steamed, or in a slow cooker.

Food blogger Oksana Dorosh (oksana_dorosh_rezeptu) shared a recipe for cutlets on her Instagram page that does not require bread, eggs, or flour. Milk and semolina can be added as an alternative.

Ingredients:

  • minced meat - 1 kg
  • milk - 400 ml
  • semolina (cereal) - 1/2 cup
  • onion
  • spices

the Method of preparation:

1. Grate, grind or chop the onion and add it to the minced meat. Add black pepper and mix.

2. Pour milk into the minced meat, add semolina and a little salt. Mix well until smooth and leave for 30-40 minutes to allow the semolina to absorb the milk.

3. After that, form the patties and, if desired, roll them in flour. Although this step can be skipped.

4. Fry the cutlets in a frying pan on both sides.
