Curd custard berry and lemon Easter cake: how to make a delicious dessert for Easter

Easter is coming soon, and millions of people will fill their baskets with all sorts of goodies and go to church to bless them. Of course, the main dish of this basket will be Easter cake. That is why it is very important that the Easter cake looks beautiful and tastes delicious.

A food blogger with the nickname vika_marchenko__ shared a recipe for this particular Easter cake. On Instagram, she explained how to make berry and lemon Easter cake so that it becomes a real decoration of the basket and Easter table. Moreover, this dish can be prepared on any other day, as it is an extremely tasty cottage cheese dessert.

Ingredients:

  • Cottage cheese 5-9% – 500 g
  • Egg yolks – 2 pcs
  • Condensed milk – 120 gr
  • Butter 73% – 80 gr
  • Vanilla sugar
  • Cream 33% – 100 g
  • Lemon zest – 1 pc
  • Berry sauce – 40 g

Method of preparation

1. Beat cottage cheese with a blender, add condensed milk, egg yolks, room temperature butter, and vanilla sugar, and mix until smooth.

2. Put this mass in a water bath and stirring constantly, bring it to a boil. Immediately turn off the heat and leave it to cool.

3. Whip the cream, add to the curd mass and mix. Divide into two equal parts. Add the berry sauce to one part and grate the lemon zest into the other.

4. Cover the mold with cheesecloth. First soak it in water, twist it out well and fold it in half.

5. Put the curd mass alternately - lemon and berry.

6. Cover the top with cheesecloth and put it under the press. And put the mold itself in a deep container, as whey will be released. Leave for 24 hours.

7. Remove from the mold and decorate as desired.
