Galette is a delicious dessert that you can prepare for tea in minutes. The dough is simple, does not require long kneading, and after baking it turns out to be very crispy and golden. It goes perfectly with the juicy filling.

Ingredients:

  • flour - 200 g
  • sugar - 1 tbsp (to taste)
  • butter - 100 g
  • salt - 1/4 tsp.
  • cold water - 3-4 tbsp.

Ingredients for the filling:

  • pear - 2 pcs.
  • sugar
  • honey and nuts - optional

Method of preparation:

1. Rub the cold butter with flour into crumbs.

2. Add sugar, salt, cold water and knead the dough for a few minutes.

3. Transfer to the refrigerator for 30 minutes or freezer for 7-10 minutes.

4. Cut the pear into slices.

5. Sprinkle the parchment with flour, put the dough, and roll it out with a rolling pin.

6. Sprinkle with sugar (the amount of sugar is optional).

7. Put the pear and sprinkle with sugar again.

8. Tuck in the sides, brush with egg yolk.

9. Put in a preheated oven to 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes.

10. It is better to eat the finished biscuit chilled. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with nuts.
