Crispy pita bread triangles with juicy cheese filling
For breakfast, a snack, tea or coffee: these pita bread triangles are the perfect option. They can be made with completely different fillings: minced meat, sausage, mushrooms, or chicken. But the most favorite and popular are those with cottage and hard cheese. They are very juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside.
Food blogger Inna Kalancha (inna_kalancha) shared a recipe for pita bread triangles with cottage and hard cheese on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- pita bread - 2 pcs.
- hard cheese
- cottage cheese
- greens
- sour cream
- salt, spices
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the pita bread in half into 2 or 3 pieces (if cut into 3 pieces, the triangles will be smaller).
2. Mash the cottage cheese with a fork.
3. Grate the hard cheese on the pita bread.
4. Chop the greens.
5. Mix the ingredients for the filling, season with sour cream, and add salt and pepper.
6. Put the filling on the pita bread and form triangles.
7. To make the triangles crispy, fry them in a dry pan. You can also dip the triangles in a beaten egg before that.
