Crispy grated pie: recipe for the easiest and most budget-friendly pastry for tea
Grated pie is one of the easiest and most delicious pies for tea. To make the dough crispy, the base must be cooked with butter.

Ingredients:
For the dough:
- 400 g. of flour
- 0.5 tsp of salt
- 1 tsp. of baking powder
- 180 g of butter
- 100 g of sugar
- 10 g of vanilla sugar
- 50 g of sour cream
- 1 egg
The filling can be made from any berries, fruits, and even from ready-made jam, but it will be most delicious with currant!
- 300 g of currants
- 100-150 g of sugar
- zest of one lemon
- 1 tbsp. corn starch
- 100 ml. water
Method of preparation:
1. For the dough, add salt, baking powder, and soft butter to flour. In a separate bowl, mix the remaining ingredients with flour.
2. Knead the dough first with a spatula, and then with your hands. Tear off the third part of the dough, put it in a bag and put it in the freezer.
3. Roll out most of it into a thin layer on parchment and refrigerate.
4. For the filling, put the currants in a saucepan, add sugar and zest, cook and cool.
5. Spread the jam on top of the dough, sprinkle with grated dough and bake until tender.
