Crispy cucumbers with ketchup: the easiest appetizer
If you like spicy cucumbers, prepare them for the winter with ketchup, adding spices and garlic. To make cucumbers crispy, leave them in cold water for 1 hour before cooking.
A cook shared a recipe for delicious, crispy cucumbers with spicy ketchup on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- 7 cups of water
- 1 cup of 9% vinegar
- 2 tbsp of salt
- 1 cup of sugar
- 6-8 tbsp chili ketchup
Method of preparation:
1. For the marinade, just mix everything in a saucepan. Boil it for 5 minutes.
2. Put 1 clove, 1 allspice, 2-3 black peppercorns and cucumbers in the bottom of a clean jar.
3. Pour the hot marinade over the cucumbers and sterilize for 10 minutes. Then close with the lids.
