Crispy croutons for breakfast: how to make them low-fat
If you don't have time for breakfast, croutons are the perfect option. This dish requires a minimal amount of ingredients that you can always find in the fridge, as well as just a few minutes of your time. And to make sure the bread is low-fat and crispy, you need to follow the right cooking technique.

Ingredients for a serving of 4-5 pieces:
- eggs – 3 pcs
- milk – 50 ml
- slices of bread – 4-5 pieces
- salt
- pepper
- mayonnaise
- butter for frying
Method of preparation:
1. Beat the egg, salt and pepper to taste.
2. Pour in the milk and mix.
3. Boil 2 more eggs.
4. Dip the bread in the egg.
5. Place on a preheated griddle.
6. Fry on both sides until golden brown.
7. Grease the croutons with mayonnaise and sprinkle with a grated egg.
