Crispy cracker with green onions in 15 minutes: long shelf life
Crispy onion crackers are a popular snack loved by both adults and children. It can be easily prepared at home with a few simple ingredients. Homemade saltine crackers can be stored for up to three weeks – this is the main advantage of the cookie. And the cracker takes only 15 minutes to bake.
The recipe for a crispy cracker with green onions was published on one of the cooking blogs (juli_co.ok) on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- cupcake flour (coarse) – 150 g
- milk – 60 ml
- melted butter – 30 g
- salt – 0.5 tsp
- yeast – 2 g
- soda – 1 g
- green onions – 35 g
Method of preparation:
1. Mix flour, milk, baking soda, yeast, butter. Stir to make the dough thick.
2. Add chopped green onions to the dough, mix, form a ball, and leave for 30 minutes.
3. Put the finished dough on a sheet of parchment, cover it with a second sheet, and roll it out thinly.
Important: the thinner you roll out the dough, the crisper the cracker will be.
4. Cut the dough into cubes or triangles. Put it on a baking sheet covered with parchment.
5. Bake the cracker at 175 degrees for 15 minutes.
