Cooking a delicious dinner with simple ingredients is very easy and quick. Chicken and cereals will always be an ideal option.

Oleksandr Hromliuk, a participant of Hell's Kitchen (New Channel), shared with FoodOboz exclusively a recipe for a delicious dish that can be prepared even for the holidays - crispy chicken with fragrant rice.

Ingredients:

  • Large chicken - 1 pc.
  • Rice - 200 g
  • Candied fruit - 30 g
  • Turmeric - 1/2 tsp.
  • Cloves, star anise, cinnamon - to taste
  • Salt, sugar - a pinch

Ingredients for the caramel crust:

  • Honey - 50 g
  • Hoisin or soy sauce - 30 g
  • Water - 20 g
  • Salt - a pinch

Method of preparation:

1. Make a marinade of salt and sugar in a 1 to 1 ratio. Soak the chicken in it for 12 hours.

2. Rinse the rice, chop the candied fruit finely, add the cloves, turmeric, salt and sugar. Mix everything.

3. Put the rice inside the chicken and sew it up.

4. Put it in the oven, preheated to 180-190 C, for 40 minutes.

5. Make the caramelized crust 10 minutes before the end of cooking. To do this, mix honey, sauce, a little water, and salt and brush the chicken. Bake for another 10 minutes.

6. The readiness of the chicken is determined by the rice, it should be crumbly.

You can also add aromatic herbs such as rosemary or thyme during cooking.

The dish is best served with pita bread or flatbread.
