Crispy bagels with jam in 30 minutes: recipe for the perfect dough
One of the most delicious and simple homemade treats for tea is bagels. You can make them with different fillings, but the most important thing is to make a good dough so that they are not clogged but are crispy.
Cook Halyna shared a recipe for delicious bagels with jam and powdered sugar, which are soft on the inside and crispy on the outside, on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- flour - 250 g
- sour cream - 2 tbsp
- eggs - 1 pc.
- oil or lard - 100 g
- baking powder - 0.5 tsp.
The filling:
- any thick jam
- powdered sugar - 80 g
Method of preparation:
1. Beat the egg with sour cream, add flour, baking powder, and butter, and mix. Put the dough in a bag and refrigerate.
2. Then roll out the dough to a thickness of no more than 3 millimeters, cut and shape the bagels, and put the filling inside.
3. Place on a baking sheet with parchment and bake at 160 C for 30-40 minutes.
Roll the hot bagels in powdered sugar and serve.
