Crispy bacon tuile: a garnish for a dish that impresses with its taste
The food served at the table should not only be delicious, but also beautiful. For this purpose, you can use a variety of store-bought decorations. Or you can make them yourself.
For example, food blogger Vladimir Yaroslavsky shared on Instagram how to make bacon tuile. According to him, the result is not only a beautiful but also an incredibly tasty garnish for any dish.
Ingredients:
- Protein – 100 ml
- Bacon – 100 gr
- Butter – 75 gr
- Flour – 65 gr
- Sugar – 15 g
- Salt
- Smoked paprika
- Chili on request
How to cook:
1. Cut the bacon into small cubes and fry a little to melt the fat. Remove from heat and let cool.
2. Mix the following in a blender: fried bacon, room temperature butter, egg, flour, salt, and smoked paprika, and blend everything very well into a homogeneous mixture. The bacon particles should be as small as possible.
3. Spread the resulting mass with a spatula on a special mold and bake at 180 degrees for about 3-5 minutes. Make sure that the dough is toasted and golden.
