Cottage cheese casserole that always keeps its shape: what to add instead of semolina and flour
Cottage cheese casserole is the perfect recipe for a quick breakfast and a delicious dessert. The only problem is that it often falls apart during the cooking process and doesn't hold its shape at all. You can make the casserole without flour and semolina, and add one other ingredient as an alternative.
One of the culinary blogs (vika_tasty) published a recipe for cottage cheese casserole with rice on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- cottage cheese - 700 g
- eggs - 2 pcs
- sugar - 2 tbsp
- salt
- vanilla sugar - 1 p
- boiled rice - 5 tbsp
- sour cream - 100 g
- butter - 50 g
Method of preparation:
1. Beat cottage cheese, salt, and eggs with a blender until smooth.
2. Add sugar, vanilla sugar, and rice to the mixture. Stir with a spoon until smooth. Add dried apricots or raisins if desired.
3. Put the curd mass into a parchment-lined mold. Spread sour cream on top and put butter.
4. Bake at 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
5. Once the casserole is baked, leave it in the oven until it cools completely, otherwise it will be very difficult to remove it from the mold.
